Position Summary:
The Group Copy Supervisor at Heller Agency is a seasoned professional known for delivering exceptional work across multiple brands while managing and mentoring multiple teams. This role serves as the backbone of the team, with internal staff and clients relying on their expertise. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.

Position Summary:
The Group Copy Supervisor at Heller Agency is a seasoned professional known for delivering exceptional work across multiple brands while managing and mentoring multiple teams. This role serves as the backbone of the team, with internal staff and clients relying on their expertise. The Group Copy Supervisor is not only involved in day-to-day brand assignments but also possesses a strategic vision that contributes to the agency's success.
General and Daily Responsibilities:
- Drive multiple accounts from a copy and tone perspective.
- Make time to mentor and guide junior staff members, fostering their growth and development.
- Delegating to multiple team members and managing freelancers to meet all deadlines
- Develop and craft a brand's messaging platform from the ground up, including thorough referencing, annotating, and sourcing clinical references to support the storytelling.
- Supervise copywriting efforts and act as a vital liaison between Senior Copywriters/Copywriters and the Creative Director.
- Maintain a keen awareness of budgetary requirements while ensuring the highest quality product representation within budget constraints.
- Address and resolve any day-to-day issues affecting team dynamics, promoting a collaborative work environment.
- Collaborate closely with the Art and Account Services teams, demonstrating teamwork to achieve strategic goals and objectives.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients and deliver organized, professional, and effective presentations of creative ideas.
- Be prepared to travel to pitches, conventions, and meetings when necessary.
- Be recognized as a creative thought leader within the department, team, and among clients.
- Stay creatively inspired by actively seeking and sharing digital inspiration, including creative, technological, and general digital trends, with teams, the art department, and the agency.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Develop brand narratives that engage and resonate with target audiences.
- Ensure a tight and engaging story flow on all creative tactics.
- Maintain consistent and approved messaging across various tactics and mediums.
- Be well-versed in brand claims and their respective reference citations.
- Attend PRC (Promotional Review Committee) calls and serve as a resource for pre-planning backup copy solutions and validating the validity of claims.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of FDA guidance for the industry and possess experience working with review committees.
- Bring scientific content to life through compelling storytelling.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Products.
- 8+ years of agency experience, with a strong background in healthcare.
- Presents a robust conceptual and design portfolio featuring a variety of 360º projects.
- Demonstrates a genuine passion for design, self-motivation, and the ability to tackle challenges with strategic thinking.
- Experience in strategic brainstorming and campaign development.
- Occasional limited travel required.
